Trust my rage

I also am so tired. Exhausted. I'm also really upset because I had a dog sitter for an overnight Wednesday. I came home and there's poop/pee all over the house. I need to tall to her but in the mean time the carpet stinks. And I can't really see the stains, just smell them. I have a professional coming to clean all the carpet on Tuesday (yay, groupon!) but I'm even embarrassed to have him clean it. The basement stairwell in particular is horrible because it's a small closed space and I can't fin the stain.

Ack. I thought the whole point of a dogsitter was not to have poop and pee.

It is officially the hottest day on record in Atlanta. Whoopee! I hate weather records.

hip deep in pie

Jesse, one of my cats barfed all over my coffee table and some important papers on an end table, so I'm right there with you. It's a peculiar mix of worry and annoyance.

One of my cats peed on the bathmat this morning. Worrying and annoying.

ETA: Also, the hot you guys have is here now. Take it back! Especially since I am at my parents and my mother has all the ground floor windows nailed shut.

Yeah, I dont know what happened. She's the daughter of a friend (but 22) so I feel awkward.

Drove out to Dundalk to swim. Nice facility. I'd never been in that part of town.

Came home to my neighbor enjoying my power and ac, as I'd offered. Will probably end up storing stuff for them in my freezer as well as my next door neighbor's who is away.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

You are an awesome neighbor, Sara.

Not so awesome is Stephanie's dogsitter.

Thrive to spite them

I feel for all the cat problems.

I still have to clean off my box fan where Dean hairballed all over it.

As soon as it gets hot he gets extra affectionate. He should be like this in Jan or Feb when it's cold. And I would appreciate his extra warmth. Not when it's nearly 90 outside and I have no a/c!

This morning he was trying to be affectionate/get comfortable. So he was walking over me, laying on me, laying beside me, pawing at my face. I kept thinking "if I'm still maybe he'll go away" and then he started making hairball noises right next to my head. I had a horrible vision of him puking on my face so I grabbed him and put him on the vinyl in the kitchen. He didn't do anything but I have a feeling if I hadn't moved I would have a disgusting story to tell.
