I was going to go to the store when the Sam Querry match ended. It's not ending. Damn you, Wimbledon, and your lack of a fifth-set tiebreak.

Congrats!
I'm all pissy over the Boston rental practice of move in/move out all together -- in NYC, I never looked at a place that wasn't empty, and they would paint and stuff. Painting seems to be a lot to ask here.
Yikes, east coast!
To Plei, or anyone else, I looking for a good place to start on the web for canning. I've done it before but 15 years ago. I'm trying to save some of my CSA fruits.
OMFG, my cat just pooped in the living room and puked in my bedroom, in short succession. I mean, poor him, but what about me???
Show him you won't stand for that! Poop in his bed.
Poor you, too, as you have clean up duty.
Congrats, LeN. Finding a place is so stressful; I'm glad at least that part is over. Did you say where you were moving? I get it if not, but I've had to read fast at points to catch up. (Unlike today, when all I feel like doing is reading here, and people are F2Fing or just out and about or whatever.) at leasts there are pictures to look at from Pasadena.
The heat has won, and I am cowering in my bedroom with the AC cranked up. Please, Flying Spaghetti Monster, do not let me lose power.
Unfortunately, my brain seems to have melted. Who wants to plan my dinner menu for this week and order groceries for me? Anyone?
Dana, I was in the same situation. Then I decided that I couldn't stand to be in the hottest room in my apartment. So I went and chopped my hair off, took a shower and am now lounging in my bedroom with my oscillating fan.
I don't know why it's cooler in here - I'm just glad it is.
Now I need to get the energy to go to the store.
You're an accomplished and creative cook, Jessica, so my menu plans would bore you to tears. All I've managed lately are sandwiches. Oh, though I did make yummy succotash last week.
Jessica, my mom always used to make pasta salad with tuna or chicken and peas with mayonnaise and some dill and salt/pepper. Not very exciting but it's my favorite hot weather meal.
