oh, and no clothes buying for me, because I am getting attic stairs installed, repairing (possibly modifying) two walls, and having a medicine cabinet installed in the next couple of weeks. Austerity measures for everyone!

Land's end is having a sale!?!?
I got an email -- you want I should forward it?
no clothes buying Jesse! NONE!
OK, OK... but -- khaki shorts!
you might have to let me help you look for apartments. ijs.
OK! I hope my two appointments tomorrow morning work out, but I will obviously let you know.
The good news on the austerity front is that with the CSA, I have basically pre-paid for the bulk of my food all summer.
I need a new swimsuit. I hope those are on sale at Lands End.
Tons of 'em.
Also, the smallest sizes are mostly sold out, but if you wear a L or XL this dress is AWESOME: [link] I wear a 6-8 and it's very flattering, washes well, so comfy. I am wearing mine twice a week.
Ugh Kat, sorry to hear about the insomnia. I had minor insomnia issues but they were soothed by the fact that I had snuggly people in the bed with me giving me hugs. So not much sleep this am but at least no raging anxiety.
On the NO growth front, I hear from some of my industry friends that NO is the new Vancouver. Lots of shoots there.
There's a Lands End dress I have drooled over since the first summer catalog came out, but even on sale it's $89.99 and I can't justify it. But I really, really love it.
I'm really angry at linen right now and don't plan on buying any more! I ironed my skirt this morning, and of course it looks like total shit now -- fully creased over my lap. Bah, linen! I love it so much in theory.
I just checked my shopping cart at LE. Three of the four items I put in there two days ago were discounted by 40%. Two tankinis but I'll probably just keep one.
Unfortunately, most of the girls' swimsuits I like sell out before they get to sale time. I like to buy next year's sizes, but lately the styles left are not ones Casper would go for (she is not a ruffles kinda girl.)
I am actually dying for fall clothes to start coming out. I am ready for summer to be over (we've been out of school 4 weeks already.)
