It's a real burden being right so often.

Mmm...Hathaway.

He's on Twitter. Which is how I found out about this play. [link]

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Of course I clicked "Follow," but I'm 95% sure I'm only interested in Hathaway, not actually Laurence Fox.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

He records music in his attic, which is kind of cute.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The Tyranny Of Obamacare

Just remember, as Bruce Bartlett noted on his Facebook page,

“A government with the power to force us to buy health insurance can also force restaurants to serve black people.”

Be afraid.

Dana, any interest in moving back to New Orleans? It's a city on the grow, apparently.

Sure, but it would be harder for husband to get a job there.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I want to buy stuff because Lands' End is having a big sale, but I already know I don't have enough money to move next month, so would someone please stop me? Even though it's on-sale khaki shorts, and who doesn't need those?? But also I could probably find some even cheaper at Marshall's and try them on first.

OK. Tab closed. PHEW.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ahaha! The other business analyst (I'm senior, he's not, WTF?) came over to vent about how stuff's just not getting done. Somehow the process is opening up and swallowing all the requests but never spitting anything back out, just periodically burping noxious fumes.

Poor guy.

But if his work isn't getting done, and my work isn't getting done...what the hell are the developers doing every day? No wonder they won't speak up in meetings.

I finally see the distrust that makes managers want you to account for your day in 15 minute increments. Where the fuck is the effort going? Jesus.

And, if I was able to put [vent about state of department on internet] down, maybe they'd get it.
