making people have insurance means they own our bodies, but forcing women to carry all pregancies to term, that is freedom and liberty for all.
no shit. I cannot deal.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

We have chat at work and we pretty much use it for personal stuff. Lunch dates, cat video links.... It does keep it out of email.
We're explicitly not supposed to do that. We were told that they get we would a little, but do you want that to be the chat that the CIO reads?
! really? making people have insurance means they own our bodies, but forcing women to carry all pregancies to term, that is freedom and liberty for all.
Yeah, I kinda' wanted to say to them, "So now you know what it's like, fuckface."
Except they really don't. They're just pretending.
Scola,
again. I cannot deal.
The only time I initiate chat at work is when I want to bitch about something with my boss, which makes the lack of archiving an awesome feature.
When it is not so great a feature is when you have two technical analysts start the same day and one of them asks during training if using chat is okay but then the other one pings you about getting a book from Stanford and you assume it was the first one, since he asked about chat, and you can't go back and look to see who asked, so then you look like an idiot when you try to give the book to the wrong person.
Not that I've ever done that, of course.
I have an actual one of those "moving to Canada" people on my Facebook feed. We went to H.S. together.
It's entertaining, in a way.

Ask them if they know what kind of healthcare system Canada has.
You also might point out that if they don't want to live in a country with universal healthcare, there is no major industrialized nation they could live in.
People Moving to Canada Because of Obamacare.
OMG, that is fantastic.
OMG, that is fantastic.
Yeah, I hope most of those people actually look into moving to Canada. I want to see their reactions when they discover how Canada's tax rate compares to the US. Oh, and also when they discover Canada's health care system.
