I think what the thinky thinkers will need to think on is what this means for social welfare legislation. That is, the Court rejected the argument that it was valid under the Necessary & Proper part of the Commerce Clause which as been a catch-all for social welfare legislation, and trying to legislate these measures under the tax code might be much trickier.

I came in late to work because I had to stay glued to the tv until the decision was announced.
