Look, I'm in my fucking physical office 40+ hours a week. I answer the phone. I reply to emails promptly. I've restored the system from home at past midnight. No, I do not fucking want chat.
I will say, I was pissy as hell when we had to institute chat, for that very reason. But I love it. It eases the email flow, and I can see if someone is available or at least online before I try to reach them. I'm now aggravated at the people who are not using it because it's more of a PITA to connect with them.
Health Care: the individual mandate survives as a tax.
Huh. CNN and whoever seem to see it differently?
SCOTUSblog says it is very complicated, but that the CJ joined the left leaning justices.
Medicaid: limited.
MSNBC: Individual mandate is constitutional under the taxation clause.
Both Deb's birthday and Nic's (and also my Aunt Pauly's, but nobody here knows her. I don't think. If she's lurking, happy birthday, Aunt Pauly!).
Matilda quote just for Scrappy:
As she was struggling with her footie pajamas a few minutes ago she paused to ponder the foot that was causing most of the trouble, and then said, "I was thinking. If I made a little birdhouse in my soul, I would probably get a splinter."
Thanks for birthday wishes!
Is it deb g's birthday too (or may Nic's, or maybe their anniversary)?
We're all three born on June 28th.
Watching this unfold in real time is reporting hilarity.
Matilda rocks.
Happy Birthday, Hec.
I heard that the mandate was upheld.
But I'm sure that more indepth reports will be coming out throughout the day.
