Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hoping the fires get contained soon.

I'm so glad you are happy with the new house, Kat. Would love to come and visit. I mentioned I have clothes for you? Lots of cute clothes. I could have books too if you are interested in books for Noah and Grace but something tells me they have lots of books.

Cat is rubbing and marking like crazy, I think I need to respray that cat pheromone spray again.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's really touching how elegant Terence Stamp is in Priscilla Queen Of The Desert. I haven't watched this movie in forever. It's so incredibly sweet, and for some reason, reminds me of Montreal even though it came out after I'd moved away. I have no idea who I saw it with. But I know who I should have...

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

No new books yet, Burrell. Actually we have a book removal program. I'm reading a different picture book each time and we are voting on keep or donate. Some of them are sentimental keeps for me, but others, NSM. It probably won't thin down the collection much but it's a start.

In terms of clothes, we are not in a position yet to bring ANYTHING into the house. Yet. Clothes! YAY! Dilemma.

Well, the clothes are all size 4-5ish, so they should fit for a while as your kids are like mine and fit into the smaller sizes longer than most. Like Franny is still wearing some of the 6T dresses and Isaac is still in 6T pants even though he just had another growth spurt.

So they are here for you when you want them.

Books can be donated too, but I offered just in case you wanted some.

I'm so grateful for you to offer.

I'm just... overwhelmed by the sheer amount of crap that we have. Moving often makes me a bit contemplative. We have most of the main parts in the house so now it's an issue on deciding what we need to keep and what needs to go.

I get it. I find our crap overwhelming and we have the ability to hide it and pretend it's not there. Well, hide some of it. The rest of it is just there, making us look like crazy hoarders.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I think I have too much stuff moving. I can't imagine with kids. And I don't have an overwhelming amount of stuff, I just hate moving.

When Simi Valley was on fire (yeah, when I went out and looked in two direction at burning horizon I just went home. That's not even a discussion I felt I needed to have with my boss.) the fires ran high hot and close enough that there was ash in West LA.

That year was insane. But it could happen again. And will, at some point. But hopefully not for a while and we'll figure out better strategies by then. Always hopeful for the future.

But that year was hellish. I'd never really thought that much of SoCal could just burn down and we'd have no defense but I did that year.

I have a Mass Effect 3 question that's too trite to ask in Gaming. If you're playing alongside Garrus as a friend, did he take you to the top of the stations to shoot cans to see who's the best marksman in the universe? If so, did you win or lose, and why?

Also, if you could explain what you are actually doing as a player to take these steps, I'd be very curious.

And, were any of you bothered with the complications of taking the same physical Shepard through all three games?

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Stay safe, Stephanie! That sounds really scary.

OMG, the African nurse that I've had for the past three weeks isn't my nurse tonight, but she came by to check on me when she saw my name was in the system. Since no one else has been to see me yet, she is seeing what she can expedite.

I can believe I thought she didn't like me...she's so nice.

I'm almost done working. One more email to send...Sunday mornings are too complicated...
