I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Watching the Revenge recap (good times!), I am reminded of a quibble: I'm pretty sure Rikers is just a city jail.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I am reminded of a quibble: I'm pretty sure Rikers is just a city jail.

If there's anything I've learned from 20 years of Law & Order, it's this.

Also: ALWAYS wait for your lawyer. And never let the police in without a warrant.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, the Rikers thing was stupid.

But god damn a lot of shit happened in half a season.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That show is, as they say, bazoo.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Meh; I'm just glad my peers are in charge of pop culture.

I thought you were older than the Twihards, Jesse?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

thanks for the congrats.

I'm still kind of freaking out - but I'll deal with it. Beau was calling me Spock because when I start getting stressed, I go into full business, poker-face, don't let anyone in mode. And that's where I am.

I feel like I am going sky diving for the first time and I don't quite know what to expect.

Because books.

Speaking of pop culture and our generation, we were dancing to Saturday Night Fever tonight at the neighbors', and it was so good to be in a room full of people my age, who remember that music.

Beau was calling me Spock

It's probably the beer, but I pictured Benjamin Spock first. Oops.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I feel like I am going sky diving for the first time and I don't quite know what to expect.

I've gone sky diving! You can expect: exhilaration, freedom, gravity, manageable terror.

Heh.

Loki and Pumpkin were curled up against each other, but now it has devolved into a mutual Pumpkin-led grooming session. Aaand Loki is enjoying it. Ears really clean.

So nice to know I've got a couple of cats who derive comfort from each other. Even though MK was Lokes' big brother, they never really got cuddly for very long. Pumk actually choses to curl up with Loki and vice versa.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Aw Pumpkin and Loki cuteness!

I feel like I've been tired for at least a year. Each week, there is a day where I think, "I have never been this tired before." So I've been thinking I'm not allowed to call myself tired any more. It's redundant and it doesn't help. Also, I am, perhaps, tired because both my work and home life have been full of stress.

But today, it occurred to me to consider that I am tired because I am old. ACK.
