So, because I'm having conscious sedation today, I'm not supposed to eat anything--including gum or candy. But I can take my medication.
My stomach is wildly upset right now, and I took two Tums without thinking of it. We can file that under meds, right? What is the problem with eating before conscious sedation? Am I going to vomit up the Tums, or what?
I could kind of do with a couple more, is why I ask...
They don't want you to throw up, yeah. I don't think the Tums will hurt, even if they're not expressly allowed.
So, a thing happened where the chief marketing officer sent around an email to the whole organization that included a comment about me. A good comment, but y'all will understand why it's making me laugh:
“Brenda” consistently works to identify new ways to contribute to the growth of our business yadda yadda etc.

I was just looking at the goodstuff tumblr, and the picture of the young man with the duckling on his ear reminded me how funny the grown-ups of that breed of duck are:
