Happy birthday Cass!
I can't believe it's not even 11 yet and I've already made a Target run. So much for sleeping in. Gonna head down to the harbor in a a bit. I'm attempting to use public transit to do so, provided I can find parking near the train station and pick up the free ciruculator.
So, yesterday was my fun day. Today really ought to be my getting-shit-done day, but so far all I've managed is a grocery store run and running the dishwasher. Looking at my to-do list makes me want to hide under the bed with the cat.
ita, you deserve those hospital folks every damn time. Thank goodness Nurse McQuietpants, RN, was on the dilaudid train for you.
Competent and caring medical shouldnt be too much to ask. I'm sorry it is so often.
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I need to motivatte myself up and showering soon. But I'm comfy.
Happy birthday, Cass!
Super yay for decent humans in the ER.
I told nut shot guy that it was his life and his anus, to do with whatever he deems honourable, but did ask outright that if it was what stood between him and sexual violation, would he just lay back and think of England. And then I called him a romantic as I signed off.
ita !, my hero yet again. And Tim with the assist.

I am Zenkitty, except that I just got up and haven't even had breakfast yet. Also, I don't have a bed frame, so hiding under my bed is not so possible.

Happy Birthday, Cass!!!
ita - glad that Nurse McQuietpants isn't just quiet - but quietly competent.
I've been reading Doonesbury all my life. 40 years of a strip where people change and have kids and die leads to wonderful things like today's strip.

As one of the commenters said a couple of days ago "40 years is a long way to go for a punch line."
Good nurses make such a huge difference. I'm glad Nurse McQuietpants is there for you, ita.
Happy birthday, Cass! I plan to eat cake in your honor.
Happy birthday, Cass!
I need it. I say this as I eat red velvet cake for breakfast. Self-sabotage is my middle name.
Yeah, I'm not sure that my toast smothered in lingonberry jam was much healthier. Yummy, though.
