ita !, are these guys raising practical objections to you racking them in krav classes/tests where the threat of rape/death is only simulated, or are they saying it's not fair to do it to actual attackers out in the world?
Real world violence, they're talking about. That it might include many things, but just like you wouldn't immediately defend your life with a gun (oh?) a nut shot is even more extreme than that.
First off, nut shots are allowed in class because they're allowed in the world. So, you both learn how to defend against them, as well as perform your own.
If you don't want to fuss with nut shots during training, take karate. Once you've signed up for krav, it's too late. What the sensible people say is "You wear your cup just to walk in the door."
And so it is.
I do get the bit where I tailor our strikes to the cup to make it hurt more is being mean. I get that. But it's also fun. Kelly cracked at least two cups with her strikes. What I preferred to do was to knock it off center, and then strike it straight on again. If it's not fitting right, that pinches.

That sounds like my husband. People will say "Bless you," but he keeps sneezing. I have to say, "Not yet" to them or they keep saying bless you and seem to get annoyed that he keeps sneezing. Once we were outside our house, and people from three other houses all called "bless you!" when he was done.
