On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

I received the most wonderful TJ's package from dcp. I am hording it like crazy. The kids know I have goodies and keep asking me what I'm going to share next. Bah, humbug. They can get their own TJ connection. Today I sent out my part of the TJ's exchange with non-TJ's goodies.

This... was actually a pretty great year, now I look back over it. It kind of feels like my first year of being something like a grown-up. I had my anxiety under control, I got stuff published, I got my flea market business set up and made real steps towards opening a vintage store. And, to top it all off, I met a boy. So thanks, 2011. You were one of the good ones.
