Jayne (Husband): Oh, I think you might wanna reconsider that last part. See, I married me a powerful ugly creature. Mal (Wife): How can you say that? How can you shame me in front of new people? Jayne (Husband): If I could make you purtier, I would. Mal (Wife): You are not the man I met a year ago.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I can't even imagine.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am thinking about a smart phone, but really, how stupid is that? I don't have disposable income for that right now. I think I will knit, in the office at my desk. that or read.

I know people are knee-jerk about the internet, but it is just so dumb. Like they come in and talk to me about mac, that is not work related. It is just as likely to be the cause of mistake I have made and not caught on proposals. (of course the real reason is that I am human and also a person who rushes and hates to look things over a million times.)

whatever. it's just a fucking job and I probably need a push to really think about leaving it in another 6 - 8 months anyway. It will serve it's purpose.

The mac stuff, no good answer there. He wants to be all super togethery tonight and I know that, but I am taking a break now, because I can only fake being into super bonding family time for so long. After a rough night, I don't want to even see him.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

That's a great story, but "thrown from a car"? WTF is wrong with people? Thankfully it had a happy ending.

There was a spate of this happening in Louisiana a while back and I ended up having to unfollow the local news twitter feeds because it was so upsetting.

Tonight's bad-move TJ's impulse purchase: Milk chocolate covered toffee popcorn.

msbelle, that's bullshit you didn't need today (or any day, but yeah.)

Crap, neighbor's guy got a fulltime gig and now I need to find someone else to do the ceiling. I knew there was a chance of that happening, I had fair warning.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh msbelle! Sending you much love. And a bit of duck repellant.

I'm telling all y'all, best chocolate treat at TJs is the dark chocolate bar with toffee with walnuts and pecans. Also has salt. Amazing!

Jilli, your dad IS awesome!

Oh, and final note in my random order meara: one of the greatest cats I've ever known came to us after he was thrown from a car onto a build site. The workers were all enamored with him but he needed a permanent home, so my sister brought him home despite my mom's admonitions that we had enough cats. He immediately became the favorite: smart, sweet tempered, answered when you called his name.
