The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

sara, that sounds good.

ION, I have the morning off AIFG. I went to the Paul Simon concert (OMG so, so fabulous) last night, so I decided that I was better off not trying to get into work at o'dark early as I usually would. I would have taken the whole day off, but there is a meeting this afternoon where my presence is not optional.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

We always used oatmeal instead of breadcrumbs.

My mom used some oatmeal and some corn flake crumbs, I think.

See, I find that KFC bowl horrifying.

And yes, I know.

My coworker's dog surprised her with puppies this morning. I may have called dibs on one already. What I am doing?

Did she know her dog was pregnant?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oooh, now I want meatloaf. Hey, I can use my homemade ketchup! (Which turned out AWESOME, by the way. It's a little more bbq-sauce-y than maybe I would have liked, but it's a very good base recipe.)

(Please do not let me spend all day browsing for adorable bottles to hold my homemade ketchup and mayo. This would not be a productive use of my time.)

Now tagless for your comfort.

Olivia and I made butter yesterday. She was so impressed with the fact that we took cream, and 10 minutes later, had butter!

I am going to the grocery today. Meatloaf's on the menu.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

They added bacon to the horrifying KFC bowl. I keep thinking about trying it, but it looks like too much mashed potatoes.

Cool. Monday Leif and I make a car out of life savers, twizzlers, and a fruit roll-up.

Did she know her dog was pregnant?

Nope. She's had the dog for less than a year, and when they got her, they delayed fixing her because she was showing signs of pregnancy. But it was a false pregnancy, which I guess this dog has a history of having.

I don't think they know when she got knocked up (she doesn't run loose and even off leash rarely leaves their side) but they figure the father is a springer spaniel in their neighborhood.
