I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Now tagless for your comfort.

So the police are violating a court order that allows the protesters to protest???

Because books.

The little bit I saw on the news today said they were evacuating the park for sanitation reasons, and the protesters would be allowed back in at some point. Which seems reasonable to me, but I'm not a camper, and I can only imagine what the park is like at this point.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Happy birthday, sumi!!

Too much to do today, both here at work and then at home with two things due at class tomorrow night. And I've got to do laundry, cook enough dinner to last a few days, make sure my new laptop from work will work at home, talk to my mom about our trip to England next summer, and if I have time, work a bit more on my cross-stitch ornaments that I'm trying to finish and give for Christmas presents.

Art Crawl!!!

Thank you all!

It sounds like the cops all over the place have been clearing out protesters from all over the country.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

You do win!

Excellent! I wonder if I can get an ita consensus!

I am kind of in awe of the protestors. I don't think I'd have their courage. I read that the library of about 5,000 books were tossed in dumpsters, leaving the OWS librarians pretty inconsolable.

The image of police throwing books in dumpsters hits me in the gut.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not only do you win, Allyson, but he loses. It's in the bag. You have the bonita ! seal of approval.

Oh, I love these. Why do they not seem to be for sale?

Ugh, Tom, I'm so sorry. I wish you didn't have to be there.

Allyson, you so won.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I wonder what the graphic for the bonita ! seal of approval would look like? You should get one, so you can put it on your website.
