I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I meant to buy these today, but ended up with these instead as a replacement for a worn out pair of boots. I like the first ones better (especially the heels), but the calves didn't fit closely enough. Sadface.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

You bought the Boots With The Furrrrr?!

(Sorry; I like them!)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

We went to Many Shops on our little road trip, and I noticed the dead muppets in great abundance everywhere.

I like the first boots, but am incapable of wearing womanly boots. But I think the women in question aren't supposed to be pushing vans out of ten inch deep ruts of snow and slogging instruments through mud.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, the other day we were discussing a Mad Men / Caprica crossover, in which Don Draper creates an ad campaign for Daniel Graystone....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I think you owe Geek2Geek an endorsement.

These are most def LA winter type boots. I'm kinda annoyed that they have the trim, since they look wintery, but since I already wear velvet in the summer, I think I've already done way worse than white past Labour Day.

And, damn, if they aren't the Aerosoles brand of comfortable heels. I almost got these in grey, but they look weird with pants, like socks with heels, and I really didn't want them in black since seven million black shoes, and the other two patterns are not going to happen on my feet anytime soon. But, again, they were mad comfy for the height.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone.

Staying in this weekend hasn't done much for this cough. I'm still going into coughing fits at least once an hour.
