A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Heh, to Pix, YAY to tommyrot, and SNERK to Scrappy!

We have a fireplace, but we also have never used it. We need to get it swept and something involving...points? I dunno. I WANT to get it working -- if I don't get jiggy-by-it -- because I grew up with a fireplace and I LOOOOVE them.

I no longer smell like wet dog, praise be. NAST.

Because books.

Jay Asher replied to one of my tweets (about The Tudors, of all things). I'm having a serious fangirl moment. I worship him.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

You gotta buy her Rum, Sodomy and the Lash for xmas.

She likes the Pogues, so I suspect she's at least heard it. But yeah, that crossed my mind too.

"for Master's thesis research on the history of sodomy in the Royal Navy during the Napoleonic War."

Awesome! I kinda want to read it too now!

I have a gas fireplace, and currently I have the pilot light turned off because otherwise the gas bill is huge. But I think it's getting time to turn it back on...

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We had a nice fireplace back in California but kept getting differing information from chimney guys and we just never put the money into it.

Here I have an gas fire that I can just flip on and off. It is nice and warm and very comforting on a cold day. Maybe someday it will help me get lucky.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Wouldn't be suprised if Tommyrot's new gf was an Age of Sail slash fan...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I meant to buy these today, but ended up with these instead as a replacement for a worn out pair of boots. I like the first ones better (especially the heels), but the calves didn't fit closely enough. Sadface.

You bought the Boots With The Furrrrr?!

(Sorry; I like them!)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

We went to Many Shops on our little road trip, and I noticed the dead muppets in great abundance everywhere.

I like the first boots, but am incapable of wearing womanly boots. But I think the women in question aren't supposed to be pushing vans out of ten inch deep ruts of snow and slogging instruments through mud.
