Yeah, I read that the PSU President turned in a letter of resignation. Sounds like it was at the board's urging.

My friend who used to work there said that Spanier ate, drank, and breathed PSU so this will be a tough situation for him.

Students are starting to gather outside the administration building, chanting "fuck the board." Estimate last night was 1,000 students rallying downtown, but they mostly went home when they saw the police show up with riot gear. I hope nothing happens tonight.

No matter what your loyalties, raping children ought to ping your conscience. Raise some red flags. It should check you.

When you hear that one of your coaches is fucking a 10 year old boy against his will in the locker room? You should want to put that coach in jail.

Your first thought should not be: "I need to protect the university!"

Followed by: "Hey, I know that guy and I should protect him."

Anyway, I'm sure the gist of the Trustees meeting was along that line.
