Because books.

When do I get my reward? I kept three girl (7, 11, and 12) busy ALL DAY with no TV, and did laundry and blogged and went to the bank and washed dishes.

My pony is going to show up anytime, right?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Earlier today, about 15 students and alumni were protesting in front of the administration building, many of them calling for Paterno to resign. Now, there are about 200 students in front of Paterno's house, rallying to show their support for him and protect him from the media.

Is the call for his retirement based on him knowing what this other coach did? (I haven't really been following the story.)

Yeah. He knew back in 2002. He followed his legal obligation to report it to his supervisors, but when his supervisors did nothing (for which they're being charged, because they had a legal responsibility to notify the police), Paterno didn't do anything either or follow up on it, even though he knew that the other coach was still working with kids.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had another crappy night's sleep. Am surprised I'm not sleepy.

Okay, that's revolting. I'm sorry: he was told directly in 2002 that his employee was found raping a ten-year-old boy in the locker room. And he did nothing.
