For anyone not on Facebook and/or who cares about such things -- pictures of our antique egg incubator: [link]
Our house is a magical place, despite the lack of closets. I suspect Mr. Tumnus is in the back of the attic somewhere.

I'm posting them because I thought they might be an entertaining diversion for them what needs divertin'.
Oh, ita, I'm sorry. That sounds awful. And you do need something in your stomach! Can you drink some ginger ale or gatorade or something? You need calories & electrolytes.
Thanks, Consuela--I have some Gatorade left over from the last time Burrell saved my ass. I think I could dilute that and drink it.
Did you take the anti-nausea meds, too, ita?
No crackers or toast or cereal around?
Rice? Banana?
(I feel like I am adding to the naus by suggesting food. If so, sorry!)
I took 'em twice, Amy. I don't feel too bad as long as I don't think of food. Including the low-sodium Ritz crackers and Special K I have lying around.
This article says you can't win an online argument. Pfah. I won one this morning. Pikers.
Good luck with consuming some calories, ita. That sounds dreadful. I hope tomorrow is better.
Ugh. I'm sorry, ita.
With regard to the vaccine discussion from the other day, has anyone seen this, about parents who organize "Pox Parties"? Seriously?
ita = queen of winning on line arguments. I hope you can keep some calories down.
I am still angry with my coworkers, so I just figured I need to hibernate in my room.
I'm teaching Othello this year instead of King Lear and I am totally enjoying it. We're doing more close reading for performance than we are doing just plow through and read. Tomorrow is 1.3 and I can't wait to get to the speech where Othello explains that it is his stories that has wooed Desdemona.
My nose is cold. I'm in fleece and more fleece. But I think I'm so cold because I swam for the first time in 3 weeks. Slow. And my goggles are be-fogged (and full of sand!). My knee hurts but good so I should stretch. Bah. This growing old thing SUCKS.
