Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Poor walnut-brain Dita.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Poor Dita!

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Yikes, Perkins.

And does anyone IRL play it after high school?

I was gonna say.

smonster, insent.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Dita had managed to slip into the duvet cover while the house keeper was putting it on, and gotten zipped into it.

I'm laughing, but only because...cats, man. They are improbable creatures. (So says the kitty owner who currently has another tab open with a plug-in heated kitty bed for the cranky old lady kitty of almost 15. To be fair, her bed is on the back of a chair that's against a window, so it's markedly colder than elsewhere in the house, especially [obviously] in the winter. And she's a kittywhore for warmth.)

t edit And I know the *two* cats are going to fight over the bed, and we should just get 2 heated beds, but damn, we aren't made of money!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

amyth, watching right now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm sorry, Suzi. I had to skim the mother stuff. I feel for you, but I absolutely cannot think about that right now--no pressure not to share. It's on me to avoid.

Uh, I played it either in my last semester of university or after I graduated, FWIW. With university students.

OMG, I just realised I've been having continual "I don't have enough credits to graduate, will they find out?" anxiety dreams. I hope now that I've realised it, they will stop.

Gentle memories to you, Suzi.

I'm laughing, but only because...cats, man.

Yes, this. When I had a bunch of friends over the last night the 'rents were here, Karen asked where Loki was, since she hadn't seen him and normally, he's all over her (loves her hair product.) After an in depth search inside of all the usual and unusual spaces, I was outside with a flashlight while my guest were inside.

10 minutes late, still in full search mode, he wanders down the stairs, blinking sleepily. I have no idea where the fuck he was. I covered all beds, closets, shelves, shoved clothes aside. He must have a bolthole into another dimension.

And then he hung out with the guests the rest of the night.

Oh poor Dita! That's something our not-so-bright Siamese mix would do.

Steph I know exactly what you mean. If it were my cats, they'd only fight over it for a while, then both would explicitly ignore it for a year then begin the fighting phase again. This explains why there is a smashed large paper bag on our dining room floor.

Matt, here's to continuing on the road to feeling much better.

And does anyone IRL play it after high school?

I just polled my college sophomore and no they don't.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I get really annoyed when they misplace themselves and in the middle of full-bore search, they find me first. I want to know where you went!

Punishingly Intricate

I had an anxiety dream last night about not being able to apply filters to my project's action items spreadsheet correctly. I think I win for most boring dream ever. yay.
