Yes, there is. There's a hurry, Xander. I'm dying...I may have as few as fifty years left.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Where's that from, Tom?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

What do you use on the grout, Consuela?

I just used soapy water with some bleach in it. It's mostly elbow grease with the scrub-brush, really.

I admit I kinda want to take the evening off, but I haven't climbed with these folks in a while, and it's good to get out, I've been indoors all day (except for the run this morning).

Off to feed the dog and change for climbing. Have a nice evening, y'all.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I worked in an overgrown flowerbed for 5 hours. Am sore and tired.

What makes it all ok though is that yesterday I bought a metal rooster for my backyard. It's not a 6' tall Beyonce, but a 1.5' tall one I've named Beauregard. He makes me happy.

6 days until the craft fair/silent auction I am organizing at my church. I have an assload of data entry to do, but not tonight. Tonight I am putting my feet up and playing games.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

In other news, it's not even 7:00. So why does it feel like 11-freaking-p.m.?

It's not even six and feels like midnight here. I hate time changes. Actual fluctuations of planet vs. sun, I can deal. Fake me out of an hour of sun, I cut you.

If there was a metal rooster in my backyard I'd be mumbling "Knock knock, Motherfucker." under my breath all the time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I dread having to clean out the garage, let alone the whole house. Especially since I have spent the last year cleaning out my MIL's house and we are only about 1/2 done.

Yeah, although in their case it's the attic and basement. But yes. She's right, though -- my father can't deal with anything anymore, and she doesn't really want to. I don't think she'll do it immediately, but eventually for sure.

Thanks, Tom! I'll put it up.

There is a garden "art" store near our place that sells all of those things, including metal roosters TALLER than the 6' Beyonce. Flocks of them. I giggle every time we go past the place.

Jesse, Memere will move to an apt also? Maybe you should buy it? Rent to own?

Uh, Memere will die. Presumably. At some point. She doesn't mean immediately, just eventually -- especially (I imagine) if my father can't live at home. We'll see what happens, but she definitely does have a point.
