I did go ahead and cancel my date tonight...
'The Killer In Me'
Natter 69: Practically names itself.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
You need to stay home if for no other reason than to stop spreading your illness, meara!!! I sure hope you feel better soon.
Feel better, meara!
ita, I'm sorry that you have to spend so much time in the ER and so much time in pain for that matter.
(If you cut a lemon in pieces and 'wave it for 30 secs, it loosens all the dried up junk and makes it much easier to clean.)
Spraying the microwave with white vinegar and then running it for 30 seconds also works really well.
Billytea, I've spent the whole thread trying to figure out the theme "The Wire" shares with Teletubbies...the best I can come up with is about Taking Stuff That Isn't Yours Can Be Bad. Am I close?
I was thinking more along the lines of the pervasiveness of media and surveillance, though I'd also take "Drugs will mess you up" as a possibility.
I already flew to Spokane and San Francisco with pneumonia, hey?
Surely you're not trying to use that as an argument for flying to Phoenix? Because it's pretty solidly an argument against. Also, don't put your plague-ridden self on the metal tube with the recycled air. It's not fun for anyone.
Thanks, sj.
stay home.
you do not want to end up in a hospital
yes, you can get worse if you don't take care of yourself
you're right, bt. they are watched. not having kids, I don't know the tubbyverse. But that is probably someone's thesis.
meara,
stay home this week. please!
Meara, you need rest!
Ladies and gentlemen, my little sister.
Oh, dear.
Somebody congratulate me that I didn't further interact with the anti-vax mother-of-an-autistic-son on a friend's Facebook page? Even though she pulled out the "I've researched the cause of autism for all 17 years my son's been around" card, and I could have riposted that while I certainly hadn't spent that much time, there are medical researchers whose job it is to, you know, actually do things like, oh, CRUNCH NUMBERS and DO BRAIN RESEARCH and stuff like that.
