Yeah, I had to break up a fight in the bathroom at 6 am. OK, I was semi-awake, but jeez, cats.

My cats also woke me up early. Now Oz is isolated until he pees in the box. Stupid urine samples.

Okay, so I had floor tickets for Prince, but they were pretty far back, so I opted for lower bowl, closer to the stage. My friend was debating with her husband whether both should go because of money/babysitting. So I said I would buy 3 tickets if they were AMAZING, but two if they were just okay. I thought there were decent seats, so I only got two. But now I feel guilty.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'd always rather be higher and closer, myself. I saw Prince years ago from a few levels up, but right on the side of the stage. It was amazing!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Nova woke me up early(well early for a Saturday) demanding breakfast, but she always does that. On a more disturbing note, I'm finding dried blood on the sofa in the computer room, and a few other places. As both kitties looked fine and snarfed down their breakfasts, I'm hoping it was a minor cut(possibly resulting from a bout of the Feline Wrestling Federation) that has healed up.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Up early, but since I crashed from 6pm to 2 am, and then from 4 to 7:30am, I am ok with this!

I have stuff to do today: clean kitchen and office, finish a resume, photo & bag garage sales leftovers for Big Brothers/Big Sisters pick up, finish a resume, go to grocery store, maybe attend friend's show tonight, if he'll put me on guest list/let me carry in a cymbal or something (we're broke till payday.)

Coffee first.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm like the Ralph Wiggum of Facebook.

I less than 3 Buffistas soooo very much.

Dunkin Donuts Pumpkin Spice coffee is AWESOME. As are all things pumpkin.

The guy across the hall from me is moving out -- it will be interesting to see what the new building owners do with the place. But also, I hope the building isn't emptying out around me! I think the one woman I talked to was hoping to stay until January, so that would be good.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My building has five units and three of them have turned over in the last month. That's crazy turnover for this building, where we've often had stable residency for five years at a shot. But I've been here for 26 years and my downstairs neighbor Pete has been here for longer than that. So we can't afford to move what with the rent control.

I do think it has something to do with the economy and the tenants are finding cheaper places to go.

Well, we all got notified at the beginning of the month that we had to move by the end of October (8 units, all month-to-month), so while they backed off that, I guess he just went for it.
