Good luck, Jen!

A Spina Bifida storyline in my mindless television is a bit too much for me.
That's pretty much a given for medical shows, isn't it? I mean, they're never going to get it right, and eventually they're going to hit something close to home. Fuck, right now it seems like every second IO9 mention of disease is cancer, and every second of those is colon cancer, and I just can't look. Makes me long for the days of chronic pain and migraines. Much easier to handle.

Holli, Mr. Flowersocks sounds wonderful.

Part of why I only watch supernatural-themed TV. And why I don't know if I'll ever be able to listen to a certain MCR song again.

Well, yes. It just hasn't happened before with a long term storyline. A once off episode that I can choose not to watch is different. I'm not really complaining about it, just mentioning it.
It didn't upset me personally, but Prison Break included some diabetic/insulin taking details that were so wrong, I was astounded. A LOT of people have diabetes. Not that hard to research it, writers.
Writers don't yet care about zooming into and enhancing photographs. Whatever works quickest!
Would you use this payment tool? It...it almost feels like stealing. Buying should be at least a little hard. Or you'll just keep doing it and doing it.
Thanks, guys!
I recommend sitting in a real chair, not on the couch or similar.
Thank you, yes! I realized, while a phone interview might be weird at first (I've never done one), you also get to do things like have notes and talking points in front of you!
It got me thinking about technology today. Are video interviews common? Has anyone here ever done one?

Hell yes.

Would probably have that effect too. Oh man. Can you imagine how much trouble some people (and by people I mean me) could get themselves into if you could use that at restaurants or bars? Or coffee shops?
I've done phone interviews, but not video. Thank god; potential employers do NOT need to see my working desk!
Phone is fine; you can look stuff up if you're sneaky; I always am ready at LEAST a half-hour ahead of time, though, and I brush my hair and put on a clean shirt and bra. I know! But it switches my mindset to "professional" not schlub.
I admit, though, as a freelancer, I am a bit more lax. I have talked to clients...BRALESS. *gasp*

I think I would, but I hope I would be careful about where I set it up. The inherent problems are also the attractions.
