So....I did a LOT of sleeping today. At one point, with Mister Kitty tucked into an armpit, Loki sprawled across my torso and Pumpkin draped over an ankle. I think they like sick days.
Gonna jam some silicon wax crap in my ear and go swimming. Nuts, I know.
Feel better, sara. Don't overdo it. Do you need anything? I'm just leaving the office.
Nah, I'm good (besides, about to walk out the door myself.) I'm just bemused by how much of the day I spent asleep.
Zooey Deschanel and hubby split.

because I was told it wouldn't work on my phone
Who's your carrier again? I'm pretty sure my sister's bought a UK SIM as well as a US SIM for her Jamaican phone. And I could buy a Kenyan one for my (T-Mobile or maybe AT&T) phone.
So they're shutting down my building because of the General Strike called for tomorrow. ::rolls eyes::
Rather than try to squeeze into a cubicle in the other office down on the waterfront, I'ma take the day off. Gonna go for a nice long run in the hills, and maybe treat myself to lunch. Or hit the Nordtrom's Sale. ::looks shifty:: Hey, it's supporting the economy...
Stimulus! It's your patriotic duty.
Happy birthday, Ginger!
So apparently I went to Chicago for warmer weather and lack of snow? I still have not really seen any Chicago tourist attractions, but I'm sure I'll be back, since my friend was moving there. What I did see was several great friends, one tiny baby (8 weeks today!), and a bunch of real estate -- I felt like I was on House Hunters. Good times.
We had over 350 kids at my mom's house last night. We really didn't expect that many. Thankfully, we could tag-team trips to get more candy. We had 200 bags of candy made up, but needed way more. The best costume was a middle school kid, who was wearing khaki Dockers, a button- down shirt and horn rimmed glasses, and had the shirt half unbuttoned to reveal his Superman costume. We had a large assortment of fairies, butterflies, a bunch of bananas (5 kids), and a very small Capt Jack Sparrow. The funniest part of the evening was the line of kids waiting to pet my mom's ancient chihuahua (dressed as a pumpkin) after they got their candy.
My youngest, who is a high school sophomore and his friends went trick-or-treating last night, but since they are all in marching band, they wore their band jackets and played songs for their candy. I heard many compliments on their efforts.
ETA: Happy birthday, Ginger!
