My CSA emailed to say they were not making it to market due to snow. Makes me think it is okay if I skip today.

If I'm going to panic-buy for the coming Snowpocalypse, I'd better get out of the house already, right?

One Straw? There were several vendors who didn't show due to it actually snowing out where they are.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Wow, our csas are over already. Our farmers market season closed last week.

Yeah Jilli I have to say I'll not entirely surprised about Vanian.

Also I would be good with a housecleaning day. No show here at the moment, but it is cold and blustery. Getting ready to stoke the fire. Just as soon as I can get out of the covers.

It's not like a super blizzard, but it's accumulating snow in October. That doesn't happen every year. The worst part, IMO, is that it's going to start as a lot of rain and be very, very windy.

Of course, given how wacky the weather has been lately, I wouldn't be surprised to be in shorts for Thanksgiving.

Yeah, I can do a double order next week with them so it's all good. I don't really want to be out walking in this stuff. brr. I'll try to go to the under the highway market tomorrow.

I am trying to motivate now to go to the gym. I'm participating in this fitness challenge thing at work where we get points for fitness activities. I don't want to miss a day of getting points! Turns out this kind of competition is very motivational for me. I've done something every day since Monday!

Because books.

Yeah, it's "wintry mix" here already, too. Ugh.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

In weird news, western ny does not seem to be getting any accumulation.

Happy late birthday aurelia!

Much ~ma to Maria and others.

hip deep in pie

We were supposed to have a rain/snow mix yesterday and we had sun instead. I think that now we're supposed to get something tonight and tomorrow.

My sister called last night and said that she and my other sister were coming up to go to the wake (but not the funeral) of the wife of my first cousin once removed. They've met her once. It's a 6 hour drive. I find it strange. Maybe it's because I don't like funerals.

I think they are using it as an excuse to come up and shop.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

It's snowing here. The ground is still too warm for it to accumulate, though.
