I'm so glad I have the day off tomorrow. No way I'm going to miss the end of this game.

These are the games I love, when it's nail-biting and I'm not emotionally involved. If the Mets were in this game I would be twitching and nauseous.
That was my Nelly, be nice.
Oh, if anything I'm leaning toward Texas just for fannish reasons (shut up), but the ball was still catchable.
Drill Press Update: it's 5 to midnight, and (as always) the project took twice as long as expected (or more). BUT! From the warmth of bed, I just heard the tailgate close and the gate swing open to pull the truck into the front of the driveway.
The drill press might not yet be technically off the property, but it is out of the driveway. I'm kind of stunned, to tell the truth.

I don't have any rooting interest in this series (weird in itself), but it's suddenly incredibly important that the Cards win this game. Dammit, if you tie it up in the bottom of the 9th to save your ass from losing the series, you should at least win that game! Tomorrow, whatev.
no.

Yes he is!
It's rough to get rid of stuff sometimes. Tim gets full props.
(hugs amych)
That said, if the Rangers win, there's part of me that'll be happy for them. A first World Series win is no small thing. Plus, as Amy said, fannish reasons.
Someone please confirm that I'm not a total bitch for wanting to strangle my husband right now. I *get* that he's nervous and scared about tomorrow, but there is no fucking need to take it out on me. I do not need to be snapped at, talked down to, and huffed at
DH and I are different when we are sick -- and our nursing behavior is different too. conflict is often part of the deal. We need to work on this
