DH and I are different when we are sick -- and our nursing behavior is different too. conflict is often part of the deal. We need to work on this

Although to be fair it only uses 3 or 4, and it's best with granny smiths--if you use a sweeter apple, I would cut back on the sugar. And don't bother making the sauce: it's sweet and moist enough as it is.
