Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

ita. That's all I've got.

ION, my Nemesis blew off deadlines she had assigned herself, and when I asked about the projects, misrepresented the dates she had given.

Do I challenge her on it? Just send the evidence to my boss? Ask if I can help because clearly she's too busy to get all her work done on time? (Which is frankly the truth.)

Because books.

Just send the evidence to my boss?

This is what I would do.

Sara's home sick today, and we're watching Splash. She's completely charmed.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

NEVER offer to help her Suela, that's just baiting her as far as she's concerned.

Bah. I'm so annoyed.

She also consistently refuses (without actually refusing) to share information. I say, "Please cc me on conversations with X," and she just doesn't. I say, "Please send me this documentation," and she just doesn't.

When there are delays and complications, she doesn't bother to tell anyone. Any sensible person would inform their boss at the very least, but she doesn't.

Punishingly Intricate

Suela, don't you have regular project status.meetings where these issues could be addressed? And risk reports and action item lists?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Not to make light of anything, but it seems like we could maybe use a round of Things That Make Me Happy.

Like, putting my hand in my coat pocket and finding $13 I didn't know I had.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

After a morning of dealing with annoying situations, I was reminded who my favorite person is to work with, because he called to ask me about two things in the best possible way.

Also, the lady in the cafeteria gave me extra bacon in my sandwich today.

No, we don't. I will ask my boss to schedule them, because I don't see otherwise how I can get any information out of her. Begging and badgering just doesn't do anything.
