Man, I spent all morning cleaning up my mess from last night. Everyone wanted to know why we had to make those changes. I finally just started referring to it as the Catbutt Event. Then there was the schmoozing and the group picture of the archive staff with Mikulski (I'm standing right next to her!) When she asked what I do "They pay me to worry about the contents of the archive and fix stuff when it screws up." Buh? Describing my job is always weird, I never know what is going to come out of my mouth. At least she laughed?
Then I had to run some tours and...worry about the contents of the archive and fix stuff that was screwed up...
I was so wired. Got most of it out in the pool.
On a plane to Omaha in 24 hours. And back 36 hours after that. Guh.

I have been nearly insensible with pain all day. Seeing double, light-headed, the whole nine yards. I'm hoping it will reach a point where I'm acclimated. Like, Saturday? That would be good. Because my pain specialist appointment is 2 weeks away, and my migraine specialist appointment is a month from now.
If you were going to recommend a book like Strunk and White that wasn't Strunk and White, what would it be?
