Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Brace yourselves, I'm attempting to bake tonight. (OK, it's only cheese filled pasta shells in premade sauce, but if it's not cooking on a grill or pan I'm out of my comfort zone.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Ok. I'm making homemade pizza tonight -- good garlicky sauce with the actually-delicious vegan mozzarella, and homemade crust from my bread machine.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

LeN, I don't know! I will have to find out.

I have been nearly insensible with pain all day. Seeing double, light-headed, the whole nine yards. I'm hoping it will reach a point where I'm acclimated. Like, Saturday? That would be good. Because my pain specialist appointment is 2 weeks away, and my migraine specialist appointment is a month from now.

If you were going to recommend a book like Strunk and White that wasn't Strunk and White, what would it be?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I already had take out last night, so I suspect the closest I am going to get to pizza tonight is a Lean Pocket or two.

Also, my sister just told me something that I am pretty sure is complete BS, and I really want to call her on it, but I'm not sure what the intent behind the BS is, so I'm not sure I should.

eta: Ugh ita !. I hope it fades, or something.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

You guys, I am so bored. It's like I've run out of brain for the week by Thursday evening.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh my, ita. Good luck making it through. Also, Garner's Modern American Usage?

ita,

so, what purpose do you need to use a book that is not Strunk & White?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hey, Boston people -- will I need a winter jacket up there this weekend, or will I be OK with a lined corduroy one?
