I've now had beer, a beer-and-beef burger, and potato salad. Time to craaaaaash.

Congrats on making some money on the car, Gud. Your family missed out.
Today has been a put-put type day. Have gotten some things done around the house but have also done my nails and made a Krispy Kreme run.
Wow, 18 years old and it sold? Impressive!!
Yesterday I spent All The Money at Sephora (omg so much, but I wanted all the things!) and then today went to the going out of business sale at the boot store, and ended up buying two pairs of boots--almost $300 (but the one pair was originally $299). OUCH. But I did need new boots (um, one pair. But the other was so PRETTY!) I really need to get a hold on the spending for the rest of April. Ay.
Balls. My oven is broke: the ignition switch has failed. And since I am not handy enough to do anything with electricity, I shall have to call a repairman. Balls.

Wait, what? Which boot store?
Anyone have a copy of Maniac Magee handy. I need some assistance for HW due tomorrow.
Jilli the Renton WesternWear store down in Puyallup. Just that location, but if you go spend there they give you a 15% off coupon for the other locations. It's currently only about 20% off (some things are 50%) but a friend had an additional 20% coupon. I didn't see anything that made me think of you, unless you have an unbeknownst to me need for white western-wear dresses. They had a ton of them, I think they were supposed to be wedding gowns?!? They still had a whole lot of men's clothes and boots, the women's section was ok, but hardly any women's clothes (other than the bridal gowns)
I'm annoyed. It's my own fault, but I'm still annoyed. Apparently Advantage flea prevention product doesn't protect against ticks. I thought all those products protected against both fleas and ticks. I switched to Advantage from Frontline because that's what the vet used, and I didn't read the packaging closely enough. Now the indoor/outdoor cat has a big goddam tick on his bee-hind. I can't get it off, he won't let me (and I don't honestly want to, eugh), but he's not coming back in the house until the thing falls off. Tomorrow morning I'm going to go buy Frontline and hope it takes care of that problem once and for all.
Poor cat, he won't understand why I won't let him inside anymore. I want him to be an inside-only cat, but he has other plans. We may have to pick one. I've never had an inside/outside cat before. It makes me worry more about my inside-only cats. What if he caught something from this damn tick that he could bring to them? I don't even know if it's possible or likely. Damn it.

Only crazy amateurs do anything around natural gas. It explodes.
I think with ticks, the animal has to be bitten, Zen. I don't *think* there's anything they can carry from them.
But switching back to Frontline is a good idea.
