I'm annoyed. It's my own fault, but I'm still annoyed. Apparently Advantage flea prevention product doesn't protect against ticks. I thought all those products protected against both fleas and ticks. I switched to Advantage from Frontline because that's what the vet used, and I didn't read the packaging closely enough. Now the indoor/outdoor cat has a big goddam tick on his bee-hind. I can't get it off, he won't let me (and I don't honestly want to, eugh), but he's not coming back in the house until the thing falls off. Tomorrow morning I'm going to go buy Frontline and hope it takes care of that problem once and for all.
Poor cat, he won't understand why I won't let him inside anymore. I want him to be an inside-only cat, but he has other plans. We may have to pick one. I've never had an inside/outside cat before. It makes me worry more about my inside-only cats. What if he caught something from this damn tick that he could bring to them? I don't even know if it's possible or likely. Damn it.
My oven is broke: the ignition switch has failed.
Only crazy amateurs do anything around natural gas. It explodes.
I think with ticks, the animal has to be bitten, Zen. I don't *think* there's anything they can carry from them.
But switching back to Frontline is a good idea.
Jilli the Renton WesternWear store down in Puyallup
Ah, okay. I do buy boots from them ("Western wedding" styled boots are perfect VictorianGoth boots), but I don't actually need a new pair.
Thanks, Amy. Poor cat is about to rip the screen out of the front window trying to get my attention to let him in. I can't stand the thought of having him inside with a big tick on him. Aw, it's not your fault, Big Gray Cat Without A Name.
I'll stop trying to find a name for him now. If there can be a Man Without A Name and a Horse Without A Name, I guess this cat can be a Cat Without A Name.
What about using Stationery in Outlook or finding an HTML e-mail template to adapt?
eta: What about using an e-card site?
Yeah, I'll probably do one of those things. I was wondering if anyone would recommend one e-card site over another, but I can do my own research on that one...
Frontline is available from Amazon: I just switched back, partly because of the tick issue.
Jesse,
I was hard pressed to find tasteful ecards, if that was what you were looking for:
try punchbowl.com
and someecards.com (if you want humor)
Thanks! I kept clicking on bullshit. I'm throwing my parents an anniversary party, so I'm trying to walk a line between classy and easy.
Jesse,
I found the site I was looking for. It has really nice cards.
