I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Eating Oreos and watching X-Men 2 is an acceptable substitute for living a productive life, right?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Dude. Sweats and a ballcap! You don't have to shower.

Another excellent plan! I may well do that at 5:30.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Eating Oreos and watching X-Men 2 is an acceptable substitute for living a productive life, right?

It sounds like exactly what I want to do tonight.

Absolutely.

I have been minimally productive today: gave my dad the name & number of a new psychiatrist to call for my mom, emailed same psychiatrist with my number so I can give him deets she won't share, picked up new dog pills, picked up jeans from the tailor where they'd been hemmed.

I've done fuckall for work, though. Hmm.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hi ita's sister!

Has anyone warned her not to click on her sister's links? Or is ita planning on being well behaved while her sister is here?

I managed to finish up a tutorial that had been pushed aside by various projects since last summer, and completed my assessment on the new material with a perfect score!

My reward? A create-and-upload-an-example assignment that I had forgotten about as the last step of the advanced skills course. Ah well, now I know what I'll be doing next week. Tonight, pizza, wine, and SPN!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She...has an understanding. Not necessarily a first hand one, but she knows how I roll. And who I've rolled with.

Please do this for me. I need someone to be doing this right now to balance out the universe.

Although I may not be as hosed on this project as I think I am, since Boss casually mentioned that I seem to have it under control.

Co-workers are headed out to the bar in order to toast a fallen comrade at arms developer that's moving back offshore.

Wonderful developer. Great to work with, go to man on most of my projects.

I don't wanna go to the bar. I wanna go home and lie down. I don't feel good.

Also my manager has officially turned over the picture of the knife to lie face down. And then I said something which made her flip it back up again. I am getting a little to attached to people who don't know me and their reactions to it.

The co-worker who had to take down his 'who to kill' poster is a martial arts instructor who does actually get it. However when I explained to other team members that I'd checked the employee manual and real knives weren't allowed (I did have a knife in my backpack, so I thought I should be informed) they did look at me weird.
