I was part of a duo everyone called Frick and Frack.

See, I admire the intentional self naming there. Of a designated groups or pairings.
I did get "Jen and those guys," once and it was so funny and true in that moment and overheard by enough of "those guys" that it's still a running joke (our FB private little buddy group is titled "...and those guys."), but I had no agency there. It's just not the same. Missed opportunities, man.
I am Jen; this is Betty. Together, we are Fugue State. Dammit!
I was being flip, but we were a named group. With superpowers: [link] That was kinda fun. Although I'm sure we were "oh, them" to many people.
We were Castle Chaos. Started out a quartet, ended up a threesome (in that sense, yes). Originally our friends just named our house, but the they started announcing us when we arrived somewhere. "Castle Chaos is here!"
Oh, yeah, I got that ita ! I was adding my admiration of Sail, Amy, you, now Zen, etc. to having intentionally named yourselves. Because I am missing this from my own history!
Actually, really because Coma made me laugh so hard. I think it is both awesome and hilarious, and I think Coma take Coma as a duty and a responsibility to the scene... sharp, matching outfits and all. I admire the dedication (though not the peg leg look; I would tailor that differently, I think. Anyway...)
Fugue State! I'ma start a band.
Fugue State is a great name! But we didn't name ourselves, our friends did.
Oh, no, we didn't name ourselves either. Nor deliberately pick superpowers, and I'm *honestly* surprised that the cartoonist friend chose that one for me, because that was way before I got into the habit. Uh, all the others make total sense, though.
But once he applied it, it stuck.
Hell, I didn't even get to name my breasts. I'm just, you know, ita !, and all my other internet designations. And most of those names were given to me by someone else...
OMG, I'm having an identity crisis now. I'm disempowered!
I'm not asking anyone to actually share their opinion on it, but does anyone here not have an opinion on bestiality?
I was never part of a named group, but after college lived in a shared dwelling know as the Rat's Nest to all our friends (the senior house cat that basically ran the roost was named Lab Rat).
Um, I have an opinion on bestiality. I think everyone does.
Jen, my friend and I didn't name ourselves either (although given the choice, we probably would have gone with something like Frick and Frack, or more likely The Soiled Doves, which is a Regency romance thing that would have only been funny to us).
In college, I was in a friendship group named "the triangle." two of my friends and I were always seen together. a bitter pill named us that and it stuck.
We gleefully call each other that when we are together.
