Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Delsym, Jilli. (Not potato pancakes! Although those should be eaten with sour cream -- everything always savory, is my motto.)

The surgery before mine is still going on, so my 11:00 scheduled surgery hasn't started yet. I'm starving, and the caffeine withdrawal headache has started, but at least they haven't taken away my iPad, so at least I can play Words with friends.

OMG, scheduled for 11 without eating or coffee? I wouldn't make it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Whoo, thank you, Jesse. (And now I want potato pancakes. With sour cream AND apple sauce.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What's the really good OTC cough suppressant?

Salsa and Sour Cream with Potato pancakes.

The things you learn here.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

everything always savory, is my motto

Right on.

Applesauce and sour cream, but separately not together. (One pancaked with one, one with the other...alternate until you cry because all the pancakes are gone).

Cinnamon sugar I can only see if you were doing weird sweet-potato pancakes.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jilli,

I heard Delsym mentioned a couple of times. I have never used it! I am a Robitussin fan from way back. It usually takes me 2 days of the Robit for my cough to die though.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

tommyrot, clearly the answer is both!

Hell yeah.

Now that I have an answer to the cough suppressant question, who wants to help me make a shallow fashion decision? Friday night is a club event for the Vampire Ball. Three bands, and OMG David J. of Bauhaus. It's a a more casual night that the ball itself, and I'm planning on wearing my usual ruffly skirts and a b&w striped blazer. I'm thinking of NOT wearing a hat, and doing my hair like this: [link]

I like that hairstyle, and think it's fun. Pete (who is not going to be at the event with me) does not like it, and says it makes me look a touch matronly. Personally, I don't see that, and think he's a crazy person, but I want outside opinions. Big crazy hair, y/n?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The potato pancakes were nummy, but I'm still hungry. Maybe I should have gotten two orders--one with applesauce and one with sour cream.
