In Kutcher's case I think Stupid is as Stupid does, not as Stupid looks. I spent years hoping Punk'd would end with a prank on Charlton Heston or Robert Blake.
Here's hoping "We didn't mean it" doesn't prove to be a viable defense against kidnapping charges.
not stupid, exactly, just goofy...maybe I still sort of think of him as Kelso?(Which, I know, acting and he's not. But then, he pulled pranks on people professionally for years...that didn't really help.)
