Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday, Kathy and Raq!

I have never been tempted to look up someone on FB who is no longer part of my life. If I'm not in touch and I'd like to be, I just friend them, if I'm not in touch and don't want to be, I cut them out for a reason.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthday, Raq! Happy birthday, Kathy!

I made a curtain on my new sewing machine and it looks great! (Note: I have never sewn anything before. I am chuffed at my mad skillz and not running over my hand with the needle thingy.)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The only time I'm ever tempted is for reasons of schadenfreude. I don't give into the temptation, but I do think about it sometimes.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Way to go, Zen!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Since I don't use FB regularly, I don't bother unfriending anyone, even if I don't speak to them anymore. And, I do have to admit, the last time I went on, I did look up everyone I had once been close with and hadn't spoken to in forever.

I probably didn't need to do that. But I also learnt not much more than "everyone's had a baby except you". The people I was mad at didn't have any interesting info up anyway. Well, not where I could see it. ::sniff::

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Lifehacker had a link to a recipe for mini-cakes baked in canning jars.

I am making [link] in jelly jars right now! AIFG!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I've done the jelly jar thing, but still didn't eat them fast enough.

Can someone find/link/retype the CI cupcake recipe? found and evernoted! Twin's birthday this week and those sound perfect.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Thank you, -t!

Tangentially related to topic, a former co-worker pinged me to connect on LinkedIn, and when I did, I discovered one of my exes in her network. Shouldn't have surprised me, I guess, we all used to work at the same place, but I didn't know they were friends. It's a bit strange. I don't want to reconnect with Laura, and I hope she doesn't either.

I hope you're not going to feed *them* adult cupcakes. That's irresponsible parenting, and I judge you.
