Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Because books.

But once again, I love how my optimism at the beginning of a canning process gradually descends into chaos and cursing by the end of it, wherein I stare sadly at one, maybe two, jars of overprocessed, inedible, sugar laden goop.

Aw, Liese! Also, now I want to read that chapter of Little Women with Meg's day of canning.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Controlling the steering wheel

Both arms?

I drive with my right arm at 12 and my left hanging out the window, most of the time.

I tend to drive with my left arm more often than just my right, maybe because my window is usually up. Dangling out the window isn't really an 85mph option, and a big chunk of my daily driving is (optimally) that, even if it was warm enough.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

This morning it felt like my lymph nodes were tender, and by afternoon I had a 102° fever. Do. Not. Want.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Well that sucks, Tom. I hope it's over quickly, whatever it s.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I made it through the whole week without falling asleep in my office!!

I am perhaps prouder of that than I should be.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oof, Tom, I'm sorry.

Yeah, I mostly drive with both arms engaged, driving one-handed does not feel natural to me.

Today was another DAY. This time with floating RAAAAGE. So that was fun. And I didn't get home until 8:30. But my neighbor had a glass of wine for me on the deck, so.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gizmodo posted an article explaining how you could disrupt your social media life in order to prevent your ex from unfriending you or blocking you--delete or deactivate your FB account, and then only re-activate it in the wee hours of the morning, go on, look at their photos and wall and stuff and get your stalkery fill, and then delete again.

It's a damned shame that I know people (well, mostly knew, now) who'd have done that shit. Who'd have fucked up their entire FB online life and made themselves unreachable on a medium they were presumably using beforehand just because they weren't emotionally healthy enough to not creep on someone who would rather cut ties with them.

Apparently FB has done something to stop this: [link] but I haven't seen what.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday, Kathy and Raq!

I have never been tempted to look up someone on FB who is no longer part of my life. If I'm not in touch and I'd like to be, I just friend them, if I'm not in touch and don't want to be, I cut them out for a reason.
