Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

We are in Madrid! It's the last stop of our whirlwind tour of Spain. Tonight we hit the Prado for 2hours, because it's free most nights from 6 to 8. And we accidentally had lunch at a world famous jazz club.

It would be great, except it's freezing and rainy and I'm whining a lot.

Tomorrow, churros and chocolate for breakfast and then the Royal Palace.

I have ticketsssssssssss.

Goddamn, that process was onerous. And the expense reporting will be worse, no doubt. But I'm going to Spain for real now!

eta:ahahah! And Consuela is where I'll be!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This: [link] made me cry. This is why I should be working from home, dammit. The internet feels.

Punishingly Intricate

Oh, geez, ita. Yeah crying. (relatedly, this week is the 2 yr anniversary of Bob getting his tumor removed and this morning he got another all clear report from his oncologist and he doesn't need to go back for 6 whole months!!)

Consuela, if you have a chance, the Thyssen-Bornemizsa (sp?) is only a couple blocks IIRC from the Prado--and is pretty awesome, if you're less into Madonna-and-Child and more into anything modernish (past 150 years?)
