Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
Once women come to expect good lovin' and know they can find someone to give it to them, the ones who find sex important, and that's a nontrivial number, will never touch Republican governor ass again.
And yet, there seem to be a lot of Republican males having extramarital sex and engaging in serial monogamy. That is, some of those ugly women-hating dudes are getting plenty.

And I don't get it. WHY?
There was a linguist who was fascinated by the disconnect in debate between the left and the right. He found that the language of the right was extremely hierarchical, that this was deeply embedded in the thought and culture of the right.
And the hierarchy included America Over All (hence, American exceptionalism), Whites Over Other Races, and Parents Over Children, and Men Over Women. Which is why it's okay for Americans to torture people from other countries, some middle aged white guy can shoot down a black teenager over skittles, and why teenage girls getting abortions without parental approval is a double whammy rage issue on the right.
It went into the subject at book length but it was a fascinating and useful series of insights which I've thought back on when the Right seems to be doing something completely whackadoo, from my Lefty perspective, which seems completely obvious, normal and right to them.

I've struck out at yet ANOTHER specialty bra shop! My boobs, they defeat the tireless efforts of ALL the bra ladies. Ones that came the closest would show up above 90% of my tops, and they weren't All That, not better than my current ill-fitting ones. 30ish bras. Swear to god.
At least I'm not on the verge of tears this time. Helps going in knowing you're going to be defeated.
