I cannot sign in to flickr at all because I have no idea what my yahoo account is, but somehow I need it.

I also accidentally consolidated my online identities when I joined twitter as sophiabrooks with my regular gmail account, and all of the sudden my students were my friends.

hip deep in pie

I don't know if Google owns Yahoo, but I mostly dislike all this cross company integration. Keep yourselves in your own little boxes!!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yo, Google has not bought Yahoo. I'm pretty sure I would remember that happening.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Damn, we are underachievers. We are statistically more likely to marry each other than to kill each other.

Allyson, if you have a Nook, I can lend you all the Hunger Games books. E-me at my profile addy.

Actually, anyone who has a Nook and wants to be Noon friends (or whatever it is), feel free. I have a ton of books, and about 40 that are LendMe ones.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Buffistas: Murderer-Free Since 1997!

I mean, mostly, right??

Yo, Google has not bought Yahoo. I'm pretty sure I would remember that happening.

OK, that's what I thought, but I was pretty sure "NUH-UH" would not be an effective argument.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I mostly dislike all this cross company integration

You can still log on the old way. Why is it a bad thing if you don't lose anything? I'm annoyed that Gawker is shifting to FB/Twitter/Google because they're taking something away, but I don't mind if a site removes the requirement to set up another online ID, as long as they don't remove the option.

However, given how crap Gawker is about their own security, perhaps there are numerous bottom line reasons to outsource it. It just doesn't mesh with my way of working online.

All of the sudden, Amazon is different.

Aaaaaaaaaaa! No! Why would they do that?!? (I just looked at it. Now I have to cry.)

Wait, I was just over there but didn't notice anything substantially different from the last time (which was last week). What changed?

Amy - Mar 16, 2012 10:23:42 am PDT #26841 of 30001
Because books.

Amazon changed for me sometime in the last two weeks, but really on the home page and the drop-downs. The product pages still look more or less the same to me.
