No, wait, I have to post this, at least, right now:

Lee, you looked so lovely in juliana's pictures! One of my favorites was the one of the both of you (um, you and juliana, that is) together, next to each other, smiling.

Also, it looks like US Bank (their regulator) is the OCC.

you can file a complaint online. My limited experiences with the OCC is that they are pretty good at resolving complaints, but it may take 60 days.

Yes. Yes they are. (and so is leN, for the record, off the record.)

Well, I whined on Facebook too, and our mortgage broker (who wrote the mortgage in question, though she works at a small local bank which sold the mortgage upstream to USBank) said to email her and she'd see what she could do. Given that she was awesome through our initial mortgage and a refinance for better rates, I am feeling hopeful. Benefits of a small town. And this is the mortgage on our house in Georgia, which is for sale, so I am especially worried that nothing get screwed up that might be a problem for a sale.

Maria, thank goodness.

Flea, I have no love for bank shenanigans, and I hope you can get them straightened out soon.

Allyson, so impressed with your guitar progress.

Sarameg, crap, I'm sorry about the eye.

DST is killing me too. And seems to have left me without any feck.

And thanks, everybody. I remain in awe of what people here know about. If Jenny can't help, OCC it is.

All three members of my household are eating Wheat Thins for dinner. Only one of us finds that depressing.

Nilly!

Ouch, sarameg. I have a friend that keeps happening to. Once they put a "bandage" contact on it, which she said made it feel better.

Here is a sneakier approach, flea. This is what some internet searches yielded:

P.W. (Bill) Parker is chief credit officer of US Bancorp. His e-mail seems to be either p.w.parker@usbank.com or pw.parker@usbank.com. The phone number listed on his SEC filing is 612-303-4644 or you can ask for him at the corporate main number, 651-466-3000.

The odds are he won't talk to you, but someone in his office will transfer you, so the person who gets the call will be getting a call referred from the VP's office.

I had garlic bread and homemade chicken vegetable soup for dinner while I watched MST3K. Then I got up and washed the dishes, swept the floor, and cleaned the bathroom. Now I'm drinking wine and finishing a Nerdist podcast before I go to bed.
