Happy Birthday Tommyrot!

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I think I'ma gonna crawl back in bed. Slept like crap last night and I'm already nodding off. I want to see a movie, darn it.
Okay, this might seem like random TMNT to you, but bear with me. April is one of their human...sidekicks? She's kinda cool, A TV reporter. About 25.
But, boy, does she ever get fucked over in the merchandising. I'm skipping the doll where she's in a leopard-print swimsuit and called "The Ninja Newscaster", because I don't hate you that much. These dolls represent pretty much her zenith and nadir of representation and usefulness and...objectification.
Motherfuck. Vital Babetistics. My pride hurts.
Happy birthday, tommyrot!
That just ain't right. I say you claim an hour of birthday come Fall when we get it back.
I endorse this plan. Bonus birthday hour this fall!
Suzi, just take care of yourself, whatever that means.
I kind of love both of those, flea.
Brunch has been achieved, but now I would like a nap myself.
A nap is always a good idea, Suzi.
Happy birthday, tommyrot, with cake and many good wishes!
Second loaf of Irish soda bread is in the oven; the neighbors are having a big Irish dinner tonight (a week early) and we're invited. I wish I liked corned beef and cabbage better. Or ... at all. But I hear there will also be potato soup.
happy birthday tommyrot
Man, I love boiled dinner! I hope we're having it next weekend... My mother does enjoy a theme meal, so I think the odds are good.
Happy Birthday Tommy!
I took a much-needed day off yesterday, went to Memphis to have dinner with my cousin at a Mediterranean/Italian place, and then saw Spring Awakening. I think 2007 must have been a very weak year for Broadway if this got so many raves and awards. The story was powerful, but aside from the grand finale I didn't think much of the music. And I don't think it was a matter of poor performances (aside from the nails-on-chalkboard voice of the guy playing Lawrence).
Oh well, at least happy I got out and went to see live theatre, even if I wasn't happy with the play itself. And pairing it with visiting a relative and eating excellent food means I'm not disgruntled about the time and gas spent on the drive over like I would have been if it were for the show alone.
