Ooh, very nice. And I love the exposed brick. Much as I love the clean formal lines of SF Victorians, I also have a soft spot for places where you get a glimpse of the bone structure of the building.

Went to a party last night for everyone at my son's bus stop. Was great fun, nice food, drank too much wine, and the kids all played nice and went to bed late (like 10:30). Good thing there's coffee this morning.
Kids just put in their breakfast requests. Franny asked for homemade French toast with chocolate chips in them. I tried to explain how the chocolate chips kinda need to be in the bread to begin with, but she's convinced this isn't true.
I'm pretty sure that I never got lice (or bedbugs) as a child because of the public, casual use of DDT. Of course, we had very few songbirds, but hey.

The memorial service was fantastic, just really well done all the way around. And we choir did get our crying mostly out of the way in the rehearsal, which was good. A lovely collation afterward, lots of old friends to see, etc. Generally everything you'd hope for from that kind of thing.
Now I'm sitting around, but need to do some cleaning eventually.
