Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The memorial service was fantastic, just really well done all the way around. And we choir did get our crying mostly out of the way in the rehearsal, which was good. A lovely collation afterward, lots of old friends to see, etc. Generally everything you'd hope for from that kind of thing.

Now I'm sitting around, but need to do some cleaning eventually.

Of course, now I'm making mental notes to do great things in my life AND be really active in the church and denomination, so I can get that kind of firepower up for me, when I die.... Hmmm.

Jesse, you'd have a great firepower chorus right here but it's irrelevant because we are all immortal!! /denial

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I will cry for you, Jesse. You don't need to make a note for that, or do anything extra. Totally taken care of.

Because books.

I always just hope it's not weird that I have a running list of possible songs to be played at my service. Which is dumb because I won't be there to hear them.
