My grandfather was working as a mechanic during that era, and according to a family story, Al Capone came through town one night and his car broke down, and he showed up at the garage where Granddad was working late, and Granddad fixed his car and he gave him some big tip. egad, don't read the comments, they are full of virulent racism. Clearly the implication that racism can be reduced is just too threatening for some.
Although my take on the study is that it is unlikely that this drug would actually work as a medication to reduce racism and more likely that the study illustrates some of the unconscious pathways that lead to racism.
