Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that would be....yikes.

Likely kitty-abortion time, to be blunt about it.

Oh, wow, sarameg, she is adorable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, do they do that? That's good. Lord knows there are too many abandonded cats already.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

He also got pulled over for prolonged honking while speeding down the road in front of our school to demonstrate the Dopplar effect, and told the cop he'd pay the ticket but was going to keep doing it for his other classes.

My high school was in a not-great part of town, and we could often hear police sirens as cop cars zipped down the road past school. My physics teacher (who was all of 22 when he taught at an all-girls' school) would be up at the blackboard, teaching something, and when a siren would blare by, he'd yell "DOPPLER EFFECT!!!" and resume what he was saying, without a pause. It was awesome.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, do they do that?

Well, they spay. And if the cat is pregnant when they start, she isn't when they're done. It's not an awesome thing but neither are more abandoned cats.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

how do you all feel about Texas reducing the number of meals prisoners get? This doesn't sound right to me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

God, teen pregnancy.

Has anyone heard of microcurrent pain treatment? I can't tell where the woo ends with my sleep psychologist. It's just, the intensity with which she pushes this is creepy, and she's really bad at explaining anything scientific.

Also, to some degree, fuck her. Don't ask me if I want to stop my emergency room visits like it might not have not occurred to me before. You are not the bearer of all epiphanies. I have been working on this for years, plus I'm not stupid.

I vacillate between thinking she's talking down to me and wondering if it's a revelation to her too, or was. Not that she's all crap--her relaxation techniques are both valid and valuable, but she seems alternately surprised that I can modulate my heart rate myself, and being sure it's a result of my martial arts spiritual evolution. Tae kwon do, capoeira, and krav maga, lady. So not about the qi.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

how do you all feel about Texas reducing the number of meals prisoners get?

Three hots and a cot really does seem like the minimum you should expect.

Yeah, one of those things.

She's really cute with her mismatched socks.
